Superstripe
Wider pinstripes, filling in over the back from both sides.
sWhat it looks like
Superstripe is a wider pinstripe. The pattern grows inward from the pin rows toward the middle of the back, from both sides at once.
How far it gets varies. A light one barely spills over the pins. A heavy one nearly meets in the middle, leaving only a sliver of the gecko's own colour along the spine.
The fill pulls back toward the pins over the last stretch before the tail, so the bare centre opens out again there.
It is recessive, so a gecko needs two copies and one copy is carried invisibly.
You may see it described as raised scalation across the whole body. That is describing the rows of pins every gecko has, which the drawing already shows, rather than anything Superstripe adds.

Two geckos with the same gene. One has the pins a little wider than usual; the other has them filled almost to the spine.
Notes
In the genetics dataA pattern trait, not a structural one. The dorsum fills completely with pattern colour, leaving a thin stripe of the animal's own base colour down the centre, which is the defining feature and where the name comes from. It is carried on a pinstriped animal, so any raised scalation belongs to Pinstripe rather than to this. Appears to follow recessive inheritance but may be complex. Limited breeding data available. Homozygous expression produces extensive striping.
Telling it apartA filled dorsum with a thin base-colour line down the middle of it, narrowing over the last quarter toward the tail. Usually presented on a full pinstripe with lateral striping, which reads as five lines in all.
On the evidenceSuperstripe inheritance appears recessive but requires further confirmation. Complex inheritance possible. Limited data: only a few breeding trials. Source: Foundation Genetics Part 2.2.
