Bullseye
Dalmatian spots with a red centre inside the black.
BEWhat it looks like
A Bullseye is a dark Dalmatian spot with red inside it. Black outside, red in the middle, never the other way round.
It is not a tidy target. The marks are built from individual scales, each taking pigment whole, so the boundary between the red and the black steps from scale to scale, the rim is often incomplete, and the red frequently sits off to one side.
Only some of a gecko's spots are ringed. The rest stay plain, and plain red spots can sit alongside them on the same animal.
Its red is its own, described by the people breeding it as more intense than the red of ordinary red spots.
This is a thinly documented one. It rests on a single breeder's definition with one independent confirmation, it has no published article anywhere, and the two accounts of how it is inherited contradict each other. Treat it as a name for something people see rather than a settled trait.
