What it looks like
An Ink Spot is a Dalmatian spot drawn large and solid: a deep, inky mark, far bigger than the speckles around it.
Only some of a gecko's spots are inky. The rest stay ordinary, and red spots can sit among them on the same animal.
Ink Spot is about the size of the marks, not how many there are. A lightly spotted gecko can carry a few big inky marks, and a heavily spotted one many.
It needs Dalmatian spots to show. A gecko without Dalmatian can carry Ink Spot and pass it on without showing it.

Ink Spot
Large, solid, sharp-edged spots, sometimes overlapping into clusters that read as shapes. Usually black, but any spot colour counts. Big spots alone do not show that a gecko has two Dalmatian copies. Gecktopia describes it in its own entry.

Ink Spot is a kind of Dalmatian spot, like Bullseye and Red Spot. A share of a gecko's Dalmatian spots is drawn large, solid and inky, and the more Ink Spot it carries, the more of its spots are inky. It is inherited as an amount rather than as copies, and a gecko is named Ink Spot only when it carries it, with one Dalmatian copy or two. This is Gecktopia's own model. A pairing preview lists it as a possibility rather than giving odds.
