The incubator

Open Incubator to see each growing egg, its parents and the time until it is ready. A new program has 4 slots. The first hatch permanently opens 8; each Incubator Tray from Shop Capacity adds 2. Only viable eggs occupy slots, but a female holds a ready clutch until there is room for all 2 eggs.

Hatch ready eggs to free slots or add a tray before the next lay. A paused collection holds the clocks without losing progress. Eggs can wait ready for you; nothing hatches automatically. See Hatching for what to do when one says Ready to hatch.
