Choosing a pair

Find a female and a male, set a goal and compare what each pairing may produce.

Open Pairing from the sidebar. Choose a female who is old enough, set a goal for morphs, build or both, then choose a male. A female can pair from 12 active days and a male from 9. A resting, locked or retired gecko waits; Pairing says why one is unavailable. Your collection also needs a free living space for the pairing to begin.

Search or filter the males by name, morph, known genes, build and relatedness. Compare candidates, then open Preview and confirm to see each pair’s known possibilities before committing. A promising morph chance is one clue; check the build comparison and the family connection too. The Morph Library explains what a named morph shows. See Relatedness before keeping a close pair in your line.

Pairing moves from a female and a goal to a male, a comparison and confirmation.
