Bids and automatic sales

You can also list a gecko for bids. Bid Coins are held until the listing ends. Withdrawing before bidding closes returns the whole bid at once; if a bid does not buy the gecko, its held Coins return no later than an hour after bidding closes.

When bidding closes, the highest bid that can complete buys the gecko. If a keeper cannot complete the sale, the next highest bid is tried.

While a sale settles, the listing shows what is happening. The sale is being settled. This can take up to an hour. If no bid can complete, the listing ends without a sale and every held Coin comes back.
