Outlook and retirement
Read a gecko's career stage and plan around its remaining breeding time.
A gecko’s page gives its breeding stage, recent breeding and time left. Newly mature, Prime, Mature and Senior breeder describe where it is in its career. Senior breeders may have different candling and further-clutch chances; the Pairing preview gives the pair’s current outlook. A female’s drawn retirement age lies from 84 to 90 active days, and a male’s from 93 to 99. Each gecko gets its own age, and a busy breeding history can bring retirement forward within the game’s limit.
Open a gecko from Collection to read its current outlook. Time spent locked or paused does not age it. A resting female finishes that rest before retiring, and an open season can finish. Plan a successor before a senior breeder leaves the pairing list. Read Rest after a season when deciding how soon to use a female again.
